Diamond Express has been approached with an incredible opportunity to help underprivileged softball and baseball kids in poverty stricken towns in and around Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. The DEx Family has met a couple that lives in the Dominican on vacation and we started talking softball. They let us know much the kids love the sport but unfortunately many can’t play because they either have no equipment or worn out and old equipment.

During the month of October Diamond Express will be collecting used or new softball and baseball equipment at tournaments. We also will have a few weekends in October where we will be setup at the Keller Lions Club taking donations (dates to come), or we can arrange to come meet you to get your stuff. We will then package these items up and ship them to the Dominican to be there by Christmas!

We asking for used and new gloves, bats, balls, nets, helmets, cleats, back packs, pants, face masks, catchers gear, uniforms, hats, all the stuff that you have laying in your in garage that you walk by all the time and aren’t sure what to do with. We will be going over there and delivering the stuff ourselves. We ask that your boys or girls write letters of encouragement that we will bring with us to hand out to them as well.
